LEVEL 4 AIDA

With Us

On board, you will have everything you need to hydrate and snack (water, tea, snacks). For those who would like to eat, breaks are scheduled for that purpose. It's important to know that diving is more effective with a lightly filled stomach for apnea, so feel free to take nuts or fruits; you'll notice the difference!

Remember to bring your swimsuit, towel, sunglasses, hat or cap, and sunscreen if needed. Restrooms and showers are available at the boarding area.

Our outings include the equipment in the price (fins, mask, snorkel & wetsuit) as well as the certification fees.

AIDA International Level 4 develops the final stages of freediving theory and practice. The AIDA4 “Master Freediver” course is the highest level within the AIDA recreational training system.

Students are introduced to advanced techniques, knowledge, and safety procedures for deep freediving beyond recreational limits. This includes FRC diving, mouthfill equalization, carpe and reverse carpe techniques. Divers continue to develop their skills in static apnea, dynamic apnea, constant weight, and free immersion, with a strong emphasis on constant weight performance.

In addition to in-water training, students are introduced to warm-up routines, stretching, physical preparation, and sports nutrition. They also learn the basics of planning and organizing dives in open water and natural environments.

Another objective of this course is to prepare candidates for the role of assistant instructor. This includes leading appropriate warm-up sessions for freediving, supervising students of all levels during training, and managing freediving equipment. This certification qualifies you as an assistant instructor and allows you to support an instructor during courses.
