LEVEL 1 AIDA

The AIDA 1 course is a one-day program designed to provide you with the basics of freediving. It is an introductory course to freediving, aimed at developing the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to practice freediving safely within your limits. This course focuses on the recreational aspect of the discipline.

** Prerequisite for this level: You must demonstrate the ability to swim 100 meters continuously without fins.

Nos Sorties

On board, you’ll have everything you need to stay hydrated and enjoy light snacks (water, tea, and small bites). For those who’d like to eat, breaks are planned for that.

Keep in mind that freediving is best on an empty or lightly filled stomach — feel free to bring nuts or fruit, you’ll feel the difference!

Remember to bring your swimsuit, towel, sunglasses, hat/cap, and sunscreen if needed. Restrooms and showers are available at the boarding point.

Our excursions include all equipment (fins, mask, snorkel, and wetsuit), and certification fees. You are welcome to bring your confortable equipment.

Duration

1 day or 2 half day

Price

20.000 xpf per person ou 70.000 xpf private boat* (4 personnes)

Program

The meeting point is at 8:30 AM directly at the public beach of PK18. This time will be used to complete formalities and cover theory based on freediving physiology, as well as relaxation exercises.

Then, at 1:30 PM, meet at the boat (Google Maps: Tahiti Freediving). There will be a maximum of 4 people on board (small group). We will head to our best dive sites, located 5–10 minutes by boat from the marina. This session will focus on relaxation techniques, equalization, and immersion.

Briefings and explanations to help you relax and improve your skills will be provided throughout the session. You won’t believe what you’ll be capable of by the end!
Your certification will be delivered at the end of the day.
